About Saint Liberal Festival
The patron saint of the walled city
Saint Liberal is the patron saint of Castelfranco Veneto, in the province of Treviso, celebrated on April 27th. The patronal feast, after years of hiatus, has been revived under the name LiberAlè thanks to the commitment of volunteer groups, the Cathedral parish, and the PALA Project, bringing a deeply felt tradition back to the city.
Four days of community
The program spans several days with a mix of offerings: aperitifs and community dinners, concerts, basketball and football tournaments, activities and shows for families, bike rides, historical re-enactments, and moments of conviviality. All designed to involve the entire citizenry and renew the social bond of the neighborhood.
Festival and urban regeneration
LiberAlè is not just a festival: the PALA Project, in synergy with the parish and volunteers, has linked the event to urban regeneration interventions, such as the transformation of the basketball court into a street art work by artist Maria Doro. A food stand with popular prices accompanies the evenings, in an event that blends tradition and community.
Saint Liberal Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festa di San Liberale, with the LiberAlè event, takes place from April 24th to 27th in Castelfranco Veneto, with the patron saint celebrated on April 27th. The event, revived thanks to volunteer groups, the Cathedral parish, and the PALA Project, offers four days of popular festival, sport, and community.
Among the events are the Torneo de Castèo basketball tournament for the little ones, the ANPI lunch, concerts, a bike ride, historical re-enactments, family shows, and the traditional community lunch of Saint Liberal, concluding with an open jam session.

Friday, April 24th
- Opening with aperitif, paella by reservation, and concert by Tabasco Shot
Saturday, April 25th
- Torneo de Castèo basketball tournament with many children
- ANPI lunch and buraco tournament
- Live music in the evening
Sunday, April 26th — families and community
- Bike ride, football tournaments in memory of coach Odilo D'Andrea
- Games, historical re-enactments, and shows for children
- At noon, the traditional Saint Liberal lunch, closing with an open jam session

How to get there
Castelfranco Veneto is reachable by train (lines from Venice, Padua, Treviso, and Bassano del Grappa) and by car from the SR53 Postumia. Activities take place in the historic center and at the Palazzetto dello Sport.
Food stand
Stand with popular prices: sandwiches (hamburger, hot dog, sausage, porchetta, falafel) at 7 euros, sandwich and small beer combo for 10 euros. Community lunches and dinners by reservation.
