The Saint Lawrence Celebrations in Pianzano
The Saint Lawrence Festival is the patronal feast of Pianzano, a hamlet of Godega di Sant'Urbano, a municipality in the eastern Marca Trevigiana in the province of Treviso. It takes place between late July and August 10th, the day of Saint Lawrence, at the Pianzano Alpini Area on Via Sant'Urbano, and for about two weeks it becomes the meeting point for the entire community.
Cuisine, Themed Evenings, and Music
Every evening, the food stand offers traditional dishes, with the opportunity to enjoy grilled meat and fried fish, accompanied by evening aperitifs and DJ sets. Among the most anticipated events are the themed evenings — Bavarian, Irish, and Mexican — and special occasions like the grand barbecue and the frico evening.
A Community Celebration
The festival, now in its 29th edition in 2025, is organized by Festeggiamenti San Lorenzo APS in collaboration with the Pianzano Alpini Group and the parish, under the patronage of the Municipality of Godega di Sant'Urbano and the Pro Loco. The festival concludes on August 10th, the patron saint's day, with the traditional Saint Lawrence Tombola, in an atmosphere of conviviality and solidarity.
Saint Lawrence Festival — edition 2026
The Saint Lawrence Festival in Pianzano is the recurring patronal feast of the hamlet of Godega di Sant'Urbano (Treviso), linked to the patron saint Saint Lawrence (August 10th). After the 29th edition in 2025, the 2026 event is expected in the same period, between late July and the first ten days of August, at the Pianzano Alpini Area.
Organized by Festeggiamenti San Lorenzo APS with the Pianzano Alpini Group and the parish, the festival offers a food stand with grilled meat and fried fish, themed evenings, DJ sets, and a charity raffle. Precise dates will be announced by the organizers closer to the event.
Programme Saint Lawrence Festival 2026
Program coming soon. The usual structure, documented in previous editions, includes about two weeks of festivities with:
- Evening aperitif from 6:30 PM and kitchen open from 7:00 PM every evening
- Grilled meat and fried fish available every evening (except themed evenings)
- Themed evenings: Bavarian, Irish, and Mexican, with DJ sets
- Special events: grand barbecue evening, frico evening
- August 10th (Saint Lawrence's Day): conclusion with the Saint Lawrence Tombola
