The festival of Sandon
The Saint James Festival is the annual festival of Sandon, the only hamlet of Fossò in the province of Venice, along the Riviera del Brenta. It is dedicated to Saint James the Apostle and takes place at the end of July in Piazza San Giacomo, the heart of the town.
The queen of the festival: tagliatella
The festival is famous for its specialty, homemade tagliatella, to the point of being known as the "Tagliatella Festival". The food stand, open every evening with takeaway service also available, offers traditional dishes, accompanied by a bar with sandwiches, spritz, and cocktails.
Music, charity raffle, and funfair
Alongside good food, the program offers music and entertainment for everyone, a charity raffle, and a funfair in Piazza San Giacomo, as well as tournaments (including archery competitions in collaboration with local Saccisica organizations). Organized by the Parish of Saint James the Apostle with the patronage of the Municipality of Fossò, the festival is one of the most anticipated events of the local summer.
Saint James Festival (of the Tagliatella) — edition 2026
The Saint James Festival is a recurring event every year in Sandon di Fossò (Venice), at the end of July: in 2024 it took place from July 25th to 30th, in 2025 from July 24th to 29th.
For 2026, the precise dates will be announced by the Parish of Saint James the Apostle. The established format includes a food stand with the tagliatella specialty, music and entertainment, a charity raffle, and a funfair in Piazza San Giacomo.

- Food stand open every evening (takeaway also available), with the specialty tagliatella and traditional dishes
