Saint George's Festival in Valle San Giorgio

The 2026 edition of the Saint George's Festival, the 9th, will take place from April 24 to 26 in Valle San Giorgio, a hamlet of Baone in the Euganean Hills. After the solemn Holy Mass on Thursday, April 23, the festival will come alive with the opening of the embroidery and sewing exhibition curated by the Baone Group, the food stand with traditional rural dishes, nature walks, and visits to Villa Mantua Benavides. The parish and the La Corte Medioevale APS association are organizing it, with proceeds going to parish works.

Thursday, April 23

Saturday, April 25

• Morning — nature walk towards Calto delle Volpare, guided by Prof. Antonio Mazzetti
• Visits to Villa Mantua Benavides
• Lunch with asparagus risotto
• Evening — dinner at the food stand and entertainment

Sunday, April 26

• Visits to Villa Mantua Benavides
• Lunch with asparagus risotto
• Continuation of the food stand and activities

Food stand menu: vegetable soup, fettuccine with asparagus and walnuts, 'musso' with polenta, grilled chicken breasts, herb cheese, local cured meats, and wood-fired 'schissotto' bread (also available for takeaway). Inflatable play area for children.

How to get there

Valle San Giorgio is a hamlet of Baone, in the Euganean Hills, in the province of Padova, reachable by car from the Euganean provincial roads near Este. The festival takes place at via Tormene 9.

When and bookings

In April, over several days. Free admission; food stand dishes are paid. Bookings recommended via WhatsApp at +39 347 7633311, especially for groups of more than six people.
