Edition 2025 — Polenta and Fallone Festival

The 2025 edition of the Polenta and Fallone Festival took place on Sunday, January 19, in the charming gardens of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III in Jenne. Organized by the Pro Loco led by president Giovanni Proietti with the patronage of the Municipality, the day combined the blessing of the animals, deeply felt by the community, with a concert by the «Filiberto Massimi» band and a tasting of the two symbols of local cuisine: polenta and fallone.

2025 Edition

On Sunday, January 19, 2025, Jenne, in the province of Rome, renewed the appointment with the Saint Anthony Abbot Feast and the Polenta and Fallone Festival, hosted in the gardens of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III. The event was organized by the Pro Loco of Jenne, chaired by Giovanni Proietti, in collaboration with the Municipality of Jenne, which granted its patronage.

The program included the blessing of the animals, a ritual particularly dear to the Jenne community, and a concert by the «Filiberto Massimi» band, which accompanied the day with its melodies. The protagonists at the table were the two symbols of local cuisine: polenta, prepared according to ancient recipes passed down through generations, and fallone, a rustic specialty typical of these lands. The menu featured polenta with sausages and pork ribs, fallone, white or red wine, water, and the typical wine biscuit.
