The traditional summer festival of the village of Calmasino, with music, flavors, and fireworks
The Saint Anne's Festival is the traditional summer festival of Calmasino, a hamlet of Bardolino, in the province of Verona. Its origins date back to the 17th century, and it still represents one of the most heartfelt community events in the village on the hills of the Veronese side of Lake Garda.
For several evenings, the village comes alive with music and dance shows, food stalls rich in local specialties, and a funfair dedicated to the little ones. It's an opportunity to gather outdoors, enjoying good food, music, and the convivial atmosphere of village festivals.
The most anticipated moment is the grand fireworks display that concludes the event, illuminating the sky above Calmasino. Organized by ASD Calcio Calmasino with the patronage of the Municipality of Bardolino, the Saint Anne's Festival combines devotion, tradition, and fun in one of the most beautiful settings on Lake Garda.
In 2026, the village of Calmasino will once again celebrate the Saint Anne's Festival, scheduled for late July (traditionally around July 26-31). ASD Calcio Calmasino confirms the established format: evening shows, gastronomy, funfair, and fireworks.
The detailed evening program will be published by the organizers on the official Facebook page and on visitbardolino.it. The traditional structure includes:
Calmasino, hamlet of Bardolino (VR), on the hills of the Veronese side of Lake Garda. By car: A4 motorway exit Affi or Peschiera del Garda, then follow signs for Calmasino.
Free admission. Food stalls and funfair are paid.
