The patronal feast of Cadoneghe in honor of Saint Andrew the Apostle
The Saint Andrew's Festival is the patronal feast of the Municipality of Cadoneghe, on the outskirts of Padua, and is celebrated on November 30th in honor of Saint Andrew the Apostle, to whom the town's parish church is dedicated. It is an event that intertwines the religious dimension with civil and popular celebrations.
The festivities include a charity fishing competition, rides for the little ones, cultural and musical evenings, and a food stand with dishes from Venetian cuisine. To crown the festival, there are fireworks. The November patronal feast should be distinguished from the Sagra di Cadoneghe, the large community festival that is held instead between May and June at the parish church of Saint Andrew the Apostle.
The 2026 edition of the Saint Andrew's Festival celebrates Cadoneghe's patron saint on November 30th. The day and the preceding days combine religious observance with popular celebrations: charity fishing, rides, musical and cultural evenings, a food stand, and fireworks.
The detailed program with times and appointments will be released by the Municipality and the parish in the weeks prior.
