The Votive Festival of the Immaculate Conception of San Gregorio di Veronella is one of the oldest and most deeply rooted festivals in the Bassa Veronese region, in Veneto. It takes place in the hamlet of San Gregorio, in the municipality of Veronella (Verona), and is promoted by the Parish of San Gregorio Magno. With over 160 celebrated editions, it has its roots in the votive devotion to the Immaculate Conception of the local community.

Sacred and profane together

The festival combines the religious dimension, linked to the vow to the Immaculate Conception, with the popular and convivial aspect typical of Venetian summer festivals. For several days, the hamlet comes alive with food and wine stalls with table service, a rich charity raffle, and a super funfair, a point of attraction for families and children.
