Sagra te li Ciceri e Tria Festival

The 2025 edition of the Sagra te li Ciceri e Tria renewed the tradition of one of the most beloved gastronomic festivals in lower Salento in Ugento. In Piazza San Vincenzo, in the heart of the historic center, the stands of the Pro Loco Ugento e Marine served the famous dish of handmade pasta seasoned with chickpeas and enriched by frizzuli, the crispy fried pasta.

Alongside the tria, visitors were able to savor numerous other specialties of Salento cuisine, accompanied by good local wine. The evening was enlivened by folk music and the pizzica, in a convivial atmosphere that attracted residents and tourists vacationing in the Ugento marinas.
