The great summer festival of the Bassa Veronese
The Sagra di San Rocco is the end-of-summer festival in Albaredo d'Adige, a municipality in the Bassa Veronese area of the province of Verona, organized by the Pro Loco (local tourism association) at the Campo della Fiera (fairgrounds). It is one of the most popular events in eastern Verona, attracting thousands of visitors over its six-day program.
Music, food, and funfair
Each evening offers a different attraction: live concerts, DJ sets, ballroom dancing, and shows, while the food stand with table service opens at 7:30 PM. There's also a funfair and a collective exhibition of painting and sculpture set up at the elementary schools, demonstrating the festival's connection to the town's cultural life.
Fireworks over the Adige
The most anticipated moment is the grand fireworks display on the banks of the Adige, produced by Pirofantasia Fireworks, which concludes the festival. The fireworks, preceded by floating torches that glide slowly on the river's surface, create a unique scenic effect, with colors reflecting in the Adige. It's the symbolic image of Albaredo and its summer festival.

The 2026 edition of the Sagra di San Rocco takes place from August 21 to 26 at the Campo della Fiera in Albaredo d'Adige. Each evening features a different event with live music, DJ sets, ballroom dancing, and shows, culminating in a grand fireworks finale over the Adige on the closing night.

Albaredo d'Adige is located in the Bassa Veronese region, reachable by car from the SR10 from Verona (about 30 km). Nearest A4 motorway exits: Soave-San Bonifacio.
