The Festival of San Martino in Cremasco

Capergnanica, a small municipality in the Cremasco countryside in the province of Cremona, celebrates its patron saint with the Sagra di San Martino, an autumn event that every year, around November 11th, fills the Church Square and the town's streets. The festival is the result of collaboration between the Municipality, Parish, and Pro Loco, who together build a rich and participatory program.

Between Faith and Popular Tradition

The Sagra unites two souls. On one hand, the religious dimension, with the solemn mass, procession, and blessing; on the other, the popular and convivial one, with markets, food stalls, and autumn tastings. It's the classic Lombard patronal festival, where the sacred and the profane coexist naturally in the rhythm of the community.
