The patronal festival of Brembilla in Val Brembana

The Sagra di Sant'Antonio da Padova is the patronal festival of Brembilla, in the municipality of Val Brembilla in the province of Bergamo, in the heart of Val Brembana. Organised by Pro Loco Val Brembilla, it unfolds over four evenings and culminates on Sunday with the festivities dedicated to the patron saint.

Four evenings of alpine cuisine and entertainment

The heart of the sagra is the Expo Pavilion on Via Donizetti, where alpine cuisine with the typical dishes of the Brembilla tradition is served every evening. Alongside the gastronomy, the programme offers evenings of music and entertainment for all tastes: from the clown-magician's show to DJ sets, and concerts by cover bands. On Sunday, in addition to the usual lunch, the patronal festivities take place, with the religious dimension intertwined with the popular one.

A solidarity festival for the region

The Sagra di Sant'Antonio is not just a moment of conviviality: the proceeds of the event are destined for the Wildfire Volunteers (VAB), to support the protection of the mountain territory. It is this spirit of solidarity, combined with its strong roots in local tradition, that makes the sagra one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Val Brembana, capable of attracting visitors from all over the valley.
