The patron saint's festival
The Sagra di San Michele is the patron saint's festival of Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco, in the province of Padua. It takes place between late September and early October, around the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, and transforms Piazza IV Novembre into the beating heart of the village.
Food and fun
The programme includes the food stand with typical dishes, the pizzeria, and a rich offering of entertainment: the funfair, card tournaments (briscola, burraco), bowls and table football, an evening dedicated to children, a charity raffle, and the traditional charity tombola. There are also moments of sport and entertainment for all ages.
