A historic festival in Montecchio Maggiore
The Sagra della Valle is a long-standing event in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza), now in its forty-seventh edition. It takes place in the grounds of the parish of Santa Maria Immacolata, run by the Giuseppini Fathers, on Via Leonardo Murialdo, at the beginning of September.
Food, dancing, and community
The heart of the festival is the food stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM, accompanied by ballroom dancing with different orchestras each night. The program is enriched by exhibitions – including an art exhibition by the Beato Angelico Group and a mycology exhibition – a charity raffle, and on the last day, the characteristic gathering of Fiat 500s with inflatables for children.

Organized by the parish community, the Sagra della Valle combines the dimension of a popular festival with the associative and solidarity aspect that characterizes the work of the Giuseppini Fathers in Montecchio Maggiore. Following the previous editions, the Sagra della Valle is also expected in 2026, usually around the first weekend of September, in the parish grounds of the Giuseppini Fathers.
