The Sagra della Stratagliata is the patronal festival of San Cristoforo that every late summer transforms Bertesina, a hamlet of Vicenza, into a large meeting point. Along Via San Cristoforo, the community prepares for days of celebration that intertwine religious tradition, good food, and socialising.
The Stratagliata
The specialty that gives the sagra its identity and name is the «Stratagliata», which is grilled meat served every evening at the food stand, open from 7:00 PM. It is the symbolic dish that draws many food lovers to Bertesina every year.

The Sagra della Stratagliata, patronal festival of San Cristoforo in Bertesina (Vicenza), is a regular late summer event: in 2026 it will again liven up the hamlet with its days of celebration. Currently, the official dates for 2026 have not yet been published; traditionally, the sagra is held at the end of August, with evenings spread over two weekends along Via San Cristoforo.
