Edition 2025 — Sagra della Salsiccia

In the summer of 2025, the Sagra della Salsiccia alla Brace once again enlivened the historic centre of Carassai, in the province of Ascoli Piceno, confirming its status as one of the longest-running food festivals in the Marche. Organised by the Polisportiva Carassai, the event offered for several evenings the famous grilled Carassai sausage, prepared with the addition of ham to the mixture, along with food stalls, live music, and dancing nights in the heart of the Piceno village.

The 2025 edition of the Sagra della Salsiccia alla Brace brought back in August the formula that has accompanied the summer in Carassai for over fifty years. For several consecutive evenings, the historic centre was filled with visitors drawn by the Carassai sausage cooked on grills and served in a bun or on a plate, accompanied by traditional side dishes and local wines. The Polisportiva Carassai, organiser of the event since 1972, completed the programme with music, dancing, prize games, and areas for children, in a popular festival atmosphere that celebrates the gastronomic identity of the Piceno region.
