The Sagra dell'Assunta is the most cherished summer festival in the Madonnetta district of Sarcedo, a municipality in the Vicenza foothills at the foot of the Asiago Plateau, in the province of Vicenza. The sagra celebrates the Madonna Assunta (Our Lady of the Assumption), honored on August 15th, and traditionally takes place around Ferragosto in Piazza A. Vellere.

How to get there
Sarcedo is located in the province of Vicenza, in the foothills at the foot of the Asiago Plateau. By car: take the Dueville exit from the A31 Valdastico motorway, then follow signs for Sarcedo. The Madonnetta district is just outside the center; the festival is held in Piazza A. Vellere.
