The night that colours Maerne

Every summer, Maerne di Martellago, in the province of Venice, experiences its most crowded evening: the Notte Azzurra, a stop on the Notti Colorate del Miranese circuit. A series of events that, town by town, lights up the historic centres of the Miranese with evening events dedicated to commerce, culture, and leisure — and in Maerne, the colour is blue.

Music, street food, and scenery

From 8:00 PM, Piazza IV Novembre and the town centre streets transform into a large, widespread stage: live music, DJ sets, dance, sports, shows, and entertainment for all ages. Each edition adopts a scenic setting — from giant luminous dinosaurs to ever-new themes — which serves as a backdrop for a food and wine trail with about fifteen refreshment points managed by the town's bars, pizzerias, and sandwich shops.

A festival of commerce and community

Organised by Confcommercio del Miranese in collaboration with the Municipality of Martellago and the MOM Trade District, the Notte Azzurra involves the commercial activities of the centre, with shops open late. It has become one of the most anticipated events of the Venetian summer, capable of attracting up to 15,000 people in a single evening.
