Sagra del Carpione di Cazzago Brabbia

In 2025, the Sagra del Carpione renewed the gastronomic tradition of Cazzago Brabbia, a fishing village on Lake Varese in the Province of Varese. The star was pesce in carpione (fish in carpione), marinated according to the ancient preservation technique, alongside other preparations based on local catch.

The event, organised by the Pro Loco with the collaboration of the lake fishermen, took place on the lakefront in a convivial atmosphere, reaffirming the identity value of a festival that tells the centuries-old relationship between the village and the water.
