Edition 2025 — Sagra dei Vertuti

The 2025 Sagra dei Vertuti was held on Thursday, May 1st, in Rocca Sinibalda, with the meeting point at Piazza della Vittoria. From 1:00 PM, the gastronomic trail guided visitors through the streets and squares of the historic center, discovering the flavors of the Sabina region and the views over the Turano Valley, with vertuti as the star dish of the day.

The 2025 edition

In 2025, May 1st in Rocca Sinibalda once again coincided with the Sagra dei Vertuti, the festival dedicated to the soup of legumes and cereals with fresh fava beans, seasoned with oil and wild mint—a signature dish of Sabina peasant cuisine.

The meeting point was set at Piazza della Vittoria 15, from where the gastronomic trail began at 1:00 PM, winding through the village alleys. The stops alternated between tastings and scenic viewpoints, while the historic center hosted stalls from local producers.

Organized by the Pro Loco Rocca Sinibalda, the 2025 edition confirmed the formula that makes this event one of the most popular in the spring calendar of the Rieti province.
