Sagra de li Piatti Nosci Festival

The 2025 edition of the Sagra de li Piatti Nosci took place on August 6th in the charming Terra village of Castrignano del Capo, in the Province of Lecce. As is tradition, the historic center was transformed into a journey of taste among the gastronomic stalls managed by volunteers.

Visitors were able to taste the specialties of Salento peasant cuisine: orecchiette and maccheroncini with tomato sauce and strong ricotta, grilled meats, gnummareddhi, fava bean purée, eggplant parmigiana, wild vegetables, and frittelle. Folk music and pizzica accompanied the evening until late at night, confirming the authentic and charitable character of one of the most beloved festivals in the Capo di Leuca.
