A race in the heart of winter
The Run Saint Valentine – Francesco Cagnin Memorial is the running race that, every February, enlivens the hamlet of Moniego in Noale, in the province of Venice. It is one of the most beloved winter events for runners in the Veneto region, included in the celebrations of the Moniego Saint Valentine Festival.
Three routes through the countryside
The event offers three routes of 6, 11, and 17 kilometers, starting from Via Gorizia, near the church of Moniego. Refreshment points are set up along the medium and long routes, while at the finish line, participants can enjoy the traditional pasta with beans in the parish oratory.
Sport and remembrance
Dedicated to the memory of Francesco Cagnin, the race combines sporting activity with remembrance and community spirit. Organized by the NOI Moniego Circle, it is a popular festival that attracts runners of all levels and families, in the convivial atmosphere typical of events in the Miranese area.
Run Saint Valentine — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Run Saint Valentine (12th edition) took place on Sunday, February 8, in Moniego di Noale (VE), with a start at 9:00 AM from Via Gorizia, near the church of Moniego.
The race offered three routes of 6, 11, and 17 km, with refreshment points along the medium and long routes and the traditional pasta with beans at the parish oratory. The event, with an entry fee of 5 euros (free for those born from 2011 onwards), is organized by the NOI Moniego Circle as part of the Saint Valentine Festival.
