The Rosegaferro Festival
The Rose Festival is the traditional summer festival of the hamlet of Rosegaferro, in the municipality of Villafranca di Verona. It takes place at the hamlet's sports facilities and is one of the most cherished events for the local community, organized by the volunteers of Gruppo il Sasso, a historic association that enlivens Rosegaferro throughout the year.
Food, Wine, and Music
The heart of the event is the food stalls, featuring traditional Veronese dishes – risotto, tortellini, grilled chicken – and the sweet rose cakes that give the festival its name, all accompanied by local wines. The evenings continue with live music and dancing, including Latin dances, in a village festival atmosphere open to families and visitors.
