The Roma Music Festival (RMF) is one of Italy's longest-running national competitions for emerging artists. How it works: three competition categories

The competition is open to three categories: Singer-songwriters, Performers, and Duos. After months of auditions, technical rehearsals, and live performances, the best talents reach the semi-finals and the national final. The competition features original songs and personal interpretations, judged by a panel of industry professionals: musicians, record producers, authors, and journalists.

Media and visibility

The festival's motto—seriousness, talent, and visibility—sums up its mission. Thanks to the support of major national media outlets such as Odeon TV, Radio Radio, Radio Roma TV, Arte News, Il Messaggero, and Leggo, the final is broadcast live on television, offering finalists a significant showcase. The event is hosted by Stefano Raucci, a familiar face on Radio Radio and the festival's artistic director.
