About Ritratti d'Autore

Ritratti d'Autore is the philosophical and literary review of Misano Adriatico, in the province of Rimini, dedicated to the great classics of thought. Every spring, the Cinema Teatro Astra hosts a series of evening lectures, always at 9:00 PM and with free admission, where nationally renowned philosophers, writers, and communicators revisit authors, myths, and ideas that continue to accompany our lives. An event of high and accessible culture, now a tradition in the Romagna town.

The philosophical review of Misano Adriatico

Ritratti d'Autore is the cultural review that has enlivened the spring of Misano Adriatico, on the Rimini Riviera, in Emilia-Romagna for several years. Promoted by the Municipality of Misano Adriatico through the Municipal Library, the event offers a series of evening meetings at the Cinema Teatro Astra, dedicated to the classics of thought and literature, with the subtitle "The classics that help us live".

Each evening is entrusted to a prestigious speaker - philosopher, writer, scholar, or communicator - who reconstructs the "portrait" of an author, a work, or a myth, bringing it back to the present. The lectures are always held at 9:00 PM and admission is free until seats are filled, a choice that has made the review a point of reference for the public of the Rimini area and beyond.

A consolidated format

Over the years, Ritratti d'Autore has brought some of the most authoritative voices in Italian culture to the Astra stage, alternating philosophy, literature, and scientific dissemination. The common thread remains the same: to show how the great texts and great thinkers of the past can still speak to our daily lives.

  • Evening meetings at Cinema Teatro Astra, in Via D'Annunzio
  • Nationally renowned speakers in philosophy, literature, and science
  • Free admission until seats are filled
  • Always starting at 9:00 PM

Misano Adriatico and its cultural offerings

Known primarily for its sea and its famous racetrack, Misano Adriatico also cultivates a vibrant cultural program for residents and visitors. Ritratti d'Autore is one of its most successful examples: an opportunity to experience the city out of season, combining the pleasure of the Riviera with high-level intellectual offerings. The review is made possible with the support of local entities such as Hera, RivieraBanca, and Romagna Acque.
