On the upper Lake Garda, where the wind blows constantly between Monte Baldo and the Verona shore, the Circolo Nautico Brenzone has been a benchmark for sailing for over half a century. Founded in 1965 and affiliated with the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV), the club is based in Castelletto di Brenzone, in the province of Verona, and organises a season of races every year from May to October.
A calendar for all enthusiasts
The programme alternates zonal stages, international regattas, and promotional days. These range from the Luca Avesani Trophy and the Brenzone Micro Challenge at the start of the season, to the Paterazzo Trophy, from the Nicolò Salvà Memorial to the Regata delle Isole e delle Rose, up to international autumn events such as the Kielzugvogel International Regatta and the Star International Regatta, with the class's Italian Cup.

The Vela Day (Sailing Day) opens its doors to those who want to experience the thrill of sailing for the first time, on dinghies and keelboats, on the crystal-clear waters of the upper lake.
Regate Circolo Nautico Brenzone — edition 2026
The 2026 season of the Circolo Nautico Brenzone offers a packed calendar of races on the waters of the upper Garda, from May to October. It kicks off on May 2-3 with the Luca Avesani Trophy (zonal stage for Asso 99, Protagonist 7.50, and Fun) and the Brenzone Micro Challenge (national race for the Micro Class). May continues with Aperivela Maggese (May 23) and the XV Paterazzo Trophy (May 24), while the Vela Day on May 31-June 1 opens sailing to everyone with free trial outings. In June, the Nicolò Salvà Memorial (June 20-21) and the Regata delle Isole e delle Rose (June 21) are held, followed by the Montees Cup night race on July 4. Autumn is dedicated to international events: the 56th Kielzugvogel International Regatta (October 2-4) and the Star International Regatta (October 9-11), with the 60th Trofeo dell'Amicizia and the class's Italian Cup.
