The rosé of Garda celebrates
The Palio del Chiaretto is the official event dedicated to the promotion of Bardolino Chiaretto DOC, the rosé wine born on the morainic hills of Lake Garda. Every year, at the beginning of June, the Lungolago Riva Cornicello in Bardolino (province of Verona, Veneto) transforms into a large open-air lounge where about twenty local wineries present their labels to the public.
A glass, a thousand shades of pink
Chiaretto is much more than just a wine: it is the enological identity of this side of Garda. During the Palio, you can taste its different interpretations with the official glass, strolling among the stands overlooking the water. The tastings are accompanied by a market exhibition of typical products, creative artisans, and a vintage market.
Not just wine
The program combines enology, traditional sports, and music. Among the recurring events: exhibitions of the 'bisse del Garda' (typical rowing boats), dragon boat races, walks "Between History and Nature" among olive trees, itinerant jazz concerts, and the "Lowsound" pyromusical show that concludes the festival by illuminating the lake.
Bardolino and Lazise, together
Since 2025, the Palio has become a "bi-local" event: Bardolino and nearby Lazise toast together, testifying to an increasingly united Chiaretto territory. The event is organized by the Fondazione Bardolino TOP with the Municipalities of Bardolino and Lazise and the Consorzio di Tutela Bardolino.
Palio del Chiaretto — edition 2026
The 21st edition of the Palio del Chiaretto returns to Lungolago Riva Cornicello in Bardolino from June 5 to 7, 2026, confirming for the second consecutive year the union with Lazise. Bardolino Chiaretto DOC tastings are open daily from 10:30 AM to midnight, accompanied by a market exhibition, creative artisans, and a vintage market along the entire lakefront.

Friday, June 5
- 10:00 AM — "Between History and Nature": guided walk of about 6 km with tasting of typical products (departure from Piazzale Aldo Moro, booking required)
- 10:30 AM - 12:00 AM — Bardolino Chiaretto tastings open on Lungolago Riva Cornicello
- 6:00 PM — Inauguration of the 21st edition at Lungolago Lenotti
- 6:30 PM — Storyville Jazz Street Band (itinerant music)
- 9:30 PM — Concert by the Storyville Jazz Band in Parco Carrara Bottagisio
Saturday, June 6
- 10:00 AM — "Between History and Nature": walk with picnic among the olive trees (booking required)
- 10:30 AM - 12:00 AM — Chiaretto wine tastings
- 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM — Pizza event with Renato Bosco at Lido Degù Cornicello (booking tel. 347 097 6095)

- 10:30 AM - 12:00 AM — Final tastings
- 11:00 AM — Dragon Boat exhibition with Pink Darsena del Garda
- 6:00 PM — Parade of brotherhoods accompanied by the Filarmonica
- 6:15 PM — Investiture of the Wine Ambassadors and award ceremony for the enological competition
- 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM — Concerts and pyromusical show on the water "Lowsound"
Every day, from 10:30 AM to approximately 11:00 PM: info point, market exhibition, creative artisans, and vintage market along the lakefront.

How to get there
Bardolino can be reached by car from the A4 motorway (exit Affi or Peschiera del Garda). By train, the nearest stations are Peschiera del Garda and Verona Porta Nuova, connected by bus. In summer, the Navigazione Lago di Garda ferries are active.
Admission and tastings
Free admission to the event. For tastings, purchase the official glass at the info points. Some activities (walks, pizza event) require booking.
