Redentore Festival of Ponte di Barbarano

A Village Festival in the Heart of the Berici Hills

The Redentore Festival is the quintessential summer event of Ponte di Barbarano, a hamlet in the municipality of Barbarano Mossano, in the province of Vicenza. Organized by Pro Loco Ponte, it takes place every year in July, traditionally around the third Sunday of the month, and transforms the village into a major meeting point for the Berici community.

Gastronomy, Music, and Fun

The heart of the festival is the extensive food stand, offering traditional Venetian dishes: gnocchi and bigoli (types of pasta), grilled meat, fried fish, tagliata (sliced steak), musso (donkey meat), and the classic Venetian-style liver. Alongside the dining area, there are evenings of live music, ballroom dancing, a youth area with DJ sets, a charity raffle, and a funfair for children.

The Redeemer's Spectacle

The most anticipated moment is the pyromusical show, which over the years has also incorporated videomapping, illuminating the sky above the Bacchiglione river to close the festival. It is the symbol of a popular tradition that combines devotion to the Redeemer, conviviality, and volunteer spirit.

An Event for the Entire Berici Hills

Thanks to the commitment of the Pro Loco volunteers, the Redentore Festival has grown to become a reference point for the entire Berici Hills area, attracting families, young people, and curious visitors every summer in search of good food, music, and a village atmosphere.
