About Ravarino June

Ravarino June, today also known as Ravarino in Festa, is the great summer festival of the Municipality of Ravarino, in the province of Modena. Throughout the month of June, the town comes alive with over fifty events: concerts, dance and theatre performances, art exhibitions, markets, activities for children, non-competitive races, and moments of solidarity. Organized by the Pro Loco together with almost thirty local associations, the event also includes two traditional festivals, that of Sant'Antonio and that of San Giovanni in Rami.

A large, widespread festival in the heart of the Bassa Modenese

Ravarino June, from 2026 also presented under the name Ravarino in Festa, is the most anticipated summer festival in the Municipality of Ravarino, a small town in the Bassa Modenese region of Emilia-Romagna. Now in its thirteenth edition, the event transforms the town's squares, parks, and hamlets into a widespread stage for the entire month of June, with over fifty free or low-cost events.

A multidisciplinary program

The strength of Ravarino June lies in its variety: in just a few weeks, there are concerts, dance evenings, dance and theatre performances, art exhibitions, book presentations, markets, outdoor yoga classes, and environmental initiatives. Among the most characteristic events of the 2026 edition:

  • the large human flag and the celebrations for the Republic Day on June 2nd in Piazza Martiri della Libertà;
  • the collective exhibition "A Municipality of Art and Culture" featuring painting, sculpture, photography, poetry, and model making, set up in the Town Hall;
  • the non-competitive race RAVA RUN 5.30 and the dawn walk;
  • gatherings of vintage cars and motorcycles, from the Fiat 500 and Vespa rally to the Campagna Amica market;
  • live concerts, from local bands and choirs to rock and country groups.

The two traditional festivals

Within the festival, two traditional Ravarino events survive. The Sant'Antonio Festival, dedicated to the town's patron saint, animates the central weekend of June with stalls, markets, and concerts. The San Giovanni Festival, on the other hand, takes place in the hamlet of Rami around June 23rd and 24th, with food stalls managed by the Pro Loco, themed dinners such as the Florentine steak dinner, rock concerts, and the show "Tutti in Scena" by the parish of San Giovanni Battista.

Volunteering and community

Ravarino June is above all a community celebration: behind the organization is the Pro Loco Ravarino, supported by almost thirty local associations, from the municipal AVIS to environmental groups, from sports organizations to the parish. In 2026, the event takes on even greater significance as Ravarino has been recognized as a protagonist of volunteering in the Modena area, with numerous initiatives of solidarity, inclusion, and environmental protection included in the event calendar.

Ravarino June — edition 2026

The thirteenth edition of Ravarino June, also presented as Ravarino in Festa, takes place from June 2nd to 28th, 2026, with over fifty events. The funfair opens as early as May 29th and remains active until June 14th. Nearly thirty associations collaborate with the Pro Loco on a calendar of concerts, exhibitions, sports, solidarity, and the two traditional festivals of Sant'Antonio and San Giovanni.

Ravarino June 2026

The 2026 edition kicks off on June 2nd, Republic Day, with the grand human flag in Piazza Martiri della Libertà and the inauguration of the collective exhibition "A Municipality of Art and Culture". In the following weeks, the RAVA RUN 5.30 race (June 6th), country evenings, and 80s DJ sets, the dance performance "Danzando l'Opera", dawn yoga classes in the parks, the Fiat 500 and Vespa rally with the Campagna Amica market (June 14th), and numerous concerts will follow.

The calendar hosts the two traditional festivals: the Sant'Antonio Festival on June 13th, with a concert by La Bandessa and markets, and the San Giovanni Festival in the hamlet of Rami on June 23rd and 24th, with food stalls, the Florentine steak dinner, the rock concert "The Dust", and the show "Tutti in Scena". Many events have a solidarity and environmental focus, in line with the town's commitment to volunteering.
