A month of events, festivals, music, and culture in the heart of Ravarino
Ravarino June, from 2026 also presented under the name Ravarino in Festa, is the most anticipated summer festival in the Municipality of Ravarino, a small town in the Bassa Modenese region of Emilia-Romagna. Now in its thirteenth edition, the event transforms the town's squares, parks, and hamlets into a widespread stage for the entire month of June, with over fifty free or low-cost events.
The strength of Ravarino June lies in its variety: in just a few weeks, there are concerts, dance evenings, dance and theatre performances, art exhibitions, book presentations, markets, outdoor yoga classes, and environmental initiatives. Among the most characteristic events of the 2026 edition:
Within the festival, two traditional Ravarino events survive. The Sant'Antonio Festival, dedicated to the town's patron saint, animates the central weekend of June with stalls, markets, and concerts. The San Giovanni Festival, on the other hand, takes place in the hamlet of Rami around June 23rd and 24th, with food stalls managed by the Pro Loco, themed dinners such as the Florentine steak dinner, rock concerts, and the show "Tutti in Scena" by the parish of San Giovanni Battista.
Ravarino June is above all a community celebration: behind the organization is the Pro Loco Ravarino, supported by almost thirty local associations, from the municipal AVIS to environmental groups, from sports organizations to the parish. In 2026, the event takes on even greater significance as Ravarino has been recognized as a protagonist of volunteering in the Modena area, with numerous initiatives of solidarity, inclusion, and environmental protection included in the event calendar.
The 2026 edition kicks off on June 2nd, Republic Day, with the grand human flag in Piazza Martiri della Libertà and the inauguration of the collective exhibition "A Municipality of Art and Culture". In the following weeks, the RAVA RUN 5.30 race (June 6th), country evenings, and 80s DJ sets, the dance performance "Danzando l'Opera", dawn yoga classes in the parks, the Fiat 500 and Vespa rally with the Campagna Amica market (June 14th), and numerous concerts will follow.
The calendar hosts the two traditional festivals: the Sant'Antonio Festival on June 13th, with a concert by La Bandessa and markets, and the San Giovanni Festival in the hamlet of Rami on June 23rd and 24th, with food stalls, the Florentine steak dinner, the rock concert "The Dust", and the show "Tutti in Scena". Many events have a solidarity and environmental focus, in line with the town's commitment to volunteering.
The events take place in the historic center of Ravarino (particularly in Piazza Martiri della Libertà, Piazza Aldo Moro, the Town Hall, and the municipal parks) and in the hamlet of Rami for the San Giovanni Festival.
Ravarino is located in the Bassa Modenese, about 25 km north of Modena. By car, it can be reached from the A22 Brennero motorway (Carpi or Nogarole Rocca exit) or the A13. The nearest train station is Modena, from where you can continue by local bus.
Most events are free admission. Some activities (themed dinners, non-competitive races, rallies) require advance registration or booking.
