Theatre returns to the courtyards

«Restart – Music and Theatre in the Courtyards» is the summer festival with which the Pro Loco Pieve Castionese APS brings live performances to the courtyards of the hamlets of Castion, in the territory of Belluno. Four open-air evenings, at 9:00 PM and with free admission, transform the intimate village spaces into open-air stages.

Between villages and stories

The festival takes place itinerantly in the various hamlets — Sagrogna, Cavessago, Caleipo, and Madeago — offering a different genre at each stop: narrative theatre, folk concerts, scenic readings accompanied by live music. A formula that enhances the local areas and creates an intimate bond between the artists, the inhabitants, and the surrounding landscape.

A local cultural offering

Part of the vibrant programming of the Pro Loco Pieve Castionese — the same one that organises the Sagra del Campanot and the theatre seasons at the Teatro San Gaetano — «Restart» represents the summer, widespread face of Castion's culture. For those visiting Belluno and the Dolomites in summer, it is an opportunity to discover the province's villages through theatre and music, in an authentic and familiar atmosphere.
