Rallio Market and Grill is now an anticipated event at the beginning of the Piacenza summer. It takes place in the tiny hamlet of Rallio di Montechiaro, in the Municipality of Rivergaro (Province of Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna), in a green basin overlooking the Val Trebbia. The event combines two complementary souls: on one hand, the vintage market, featuring modern art, objects, creativity, and recycling; on the other, the grill, with street food and specialties cooked over open flames.
Market, craftsmanship, and creativity
Along the village streets, numerous exhibitors display stalls of vintage clothing and accessories, records, books, modern art, small antiques, and handmade creations. It's the perfect opportunity for vintage enthusiasts looking for that hard-to-find piece, but also for those who simply want to stroll among the stalls in a relaxed, village atmosphere.
The grill and street food
The gastronomic heart of the event is the grill, animated by local businesses and food trucks. Among the stars of recent editions are La Stoppa and the friends of Valtrebbia, El Diez Azado Argentino with its South American-style grilled meat, Carbonaro on the Road, and Corte del Gallo. Amidst the aroma of roasted meat, local wines, and conviviality, Rallio Market and Grill becomes a meeting point for the valley community and visitors from Piacenza and surrounding areas.
A local event
The event is promoted by Circolo Acli S. Ilario in collaboration with Fridasview, with the aim of promoting and enhancing the Val Trebbia territory. Born as a small hamlet festival, Rallio Market and Grill has grown edition after edition, eventually doubling its schedule to a weekend and attracting an ever-wider audience of families, curious visitors, and lovers of good outdoor food.

Rallio Market and Grill — edition 2026
Fifth edition, for the first time over two days
The fifth edition of Rallio Market and Grill will be held in Rallio di Montechiaro, a hamlet of Rivergaro, with an important novelty: for the first time, the event will span two days. Saturday, June 13, will feature an evening opening from 6 PM to 11 PM, while on Sunday, June 14, the event will return in the morning, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
For this edition too, the vintage market and craftsmanship will be accompanied by the grill, with many exhibitors and local food stalls. Among the announced gastronomic participants: La Stoppa and the friends of Valtrebbia, El Diez Azado Argentino, Carbonaro on the Road, and Corte del Gallo. The organization is handled by Circolo Acli S. Ilario in collaboration with Fridasview.

How to get there
Rallio is a hamlet of Montechiaro, in the Municipality of Rivergaro (PC). By car, it can be reached from the SS45 of Val Trebbia, exiting towards Rivergaro and continuing along the hilly roads leading up to Montechiaro. The distance from Piacenza is about 25-30 km.
