About Q.Pido

Q.Pido is the Treviso Equality Festival, the LGBTQIA+ themed review promoted by the LGBTE Treviso Coordination. For a week in May, around the World Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (May 17th), the city hosts about ten free events — meetings, book presentations, shows, exhibitions, solidarity sports tournaments, and parties — in symbolic locations in the city center. Included in the Network of Treviso City Festivals and sponsored by the Municipality.

A week for rights and inclusion

Q.Pido — Treviso Equality Festival is the LGBTQIA+ themed review that every May brings a week of culture, discussion, and celebration to Treviso. It is organized by the Coordinamento LGBTE Treviso (LGBTE Treviso Coordination), an organization active for over ten years in the area, and culminates around May 17th, the World Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

About ten free events spread throughout the city

The festival generally offers about ten free events open to the public, held in representative locations around the city: the Loggia dei Cavalieri, bookstores, association headquarters, churches, gyms, and venues. The program includes meetings on fragility, sexuality, language, and family, presentations of books and comics, theater and comedy shows, exhibitions, charity sports tournaments, and dance evenings.

Part of the City's Festival Network

Q.Pido is part of the Network of Treviso City Festivals and is sponsored by the Municipality of Treviso. Although its focus is the provincial capital, the review often extends its program to at least one event outside the city, such as in Roncade, demonstrating its territorial and inclusive vocation.

Culture, sport, and celebration

More than just a review, Q.Pido is conceived as a "collective response of freedom and inclusion": events that alternate reflection and lightheartedness, from the vigil for the overcoming of homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia to solidarity five-a-side football or table football tournaments, up to shows featuring artists and activists from the Italian queer scene.

Q.Pido — edition 2026

The eighth edition of Q.Pido — Treviso Equality Festival took place from May 10 to 17, 2026, with about ten free LGBTQIA+ events in Treviso and one event in Roncade. From the opening charity table football tournament to the vigil for overcoming homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia, to the final show "Where Queers Come From" at the Loggia dei Cavalieri on May 17th, World Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

The eighth edition of Q.Pido took place from May 10 to 17, 2026, promoted by the LGBTE Treviso Coordination and included in the Network of Treviso City Festivals. The program, free and open to all, alternated meetings, presentations, shows, and festive moments in various city spaces, with an evening in Roncade.

The review culminated on Sunday, May 17th, World Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, with the show "Da dove nascono i queer" (Where Queers Come From) by Giovanna Donini and Andrea Midena, featuring drag queen Ama Supreme, at the Loggia dei Cavalieri.
