Put a Friday Evening at the Gavazzeni Theatre is the jazz festival that animates the Gavazzeni Cinema-Theatre in Seriate, in the province of Bergamo, every year. The absolute star is the JW Orchestra, a Bergamo ensemble directed by Marco Gotti, which builds a monographic program dedicated to a great name or theme for each evening. The original arrangements and the presence of guest soloists — trumpeters, saxophonists, and vocalists — make each concert a unique event, capable of speaking to both enthusiasts and those approaching orchestral jazz for the first time.

Now in its tenth edition, the festival has become a benchmark for the cultural programming of Seriate and the Bergamo hinterland.
