Music Among the Skyscrapers

The Portanuova Music Fest is the music festival that enlivens the Porta Nuova district, one of Milan's most modern faces (Province of Milan, Lombardy), in Municipality 9. The setting is that of the district's skyscrapers and squares, with Piazza Alvar Aalto as the focal point: here, emerging Italian music finds an unexpected and evocative stage, amidst contemporary architecture and public spaces.

Four Stages, Many Experiences

The festival distributes its performances across four stages in various areas of the district. Alongside live concerts, there are DJ sets, talks with major record labels, guitar lessons, karaoke sessions, and even an original "tarot corner" for personalized listening advice. A formula that blends music, networking, and fun, designed for young audiences and enthusiasts.

Space for Emerging Artists

The heart of the Portanuova Music Fest is the Italian emerging music scene: the festival gives a voice to new talents alongside established artists, with lineups that in past editions have featured names like Carl Brave, Sarafine, and Cantafinoadieci. It's an opportunity to discover new proposals in Italian music in a free and accessible context.

A District Event

The event is organized by Porta Nuova Milano in collaboration with Openstage, with free admission. The 2026 edition is scheduled from May 29 to June 2, expanding the format to the beginning of the Milanese summer.
