The Village Festival
Pontecchio in Fiera is the grand village festival of Pontecchio Polesine, a municipality in the Polesine region near Rovigo. For about two weeks, between late May and early June, the village gathers around Piazza Matteotti and its streets for a festival that combines shows, sports, religious moments, and fun.
Shows, Sports, and Tradition
The program alternates theatrical performances and music nights, running races and sports tournaments, exhibitions, and activities for children, culminating in the solemn procession of San Fausto, which renews the religious dimension of the festival each year. The funfair in Piazza Matteotti and the festival stalls provide the backdrop. Admission is free, and the entire event is organized by the Municipality of Pontecchio Polesine.
Pontecchio Fair — edition 2026
In 2026 too, Pontecchio in Fiera enlivens Pontecchio Polesine, from May 27 to June 9. Two weeks of festivities with shows, music nights, sports competitions, the San Fausto procession, a funfair, and entertainment for all ages, from Piazza Matteotti, with free admission.
