Polentone Festival

The 2025 edition of the Polentone Festival took place in Molare, in the province of Alessandria, renewing the tradition that the town has cherished for generations. For three evenings, the historic center hosted gastronomic stands with dishes from Molare's cuisine, accompanied by music and entertainment for families.

As every year, the most anticipated moment was the serving of the polentone: the contents of the enormous copper cauldron, stirred by the dozen cooks of the Pro Loco, were turned out and beaten on wooden boards in front of the crowd, to then be distributed in the square with fried cod. There was no shortage of Sunday's fried polenta and the StraMolare, the town's running race.
