Edition 2025 — Rencocciata Festival

The 29th edition of the Polenta Rencocciata Festival took place in Licenza on Saturday, February 22, and Sunday, February 23, 2025. The Pro Loco stalls opened at noon in the village square, with tastings starting at 12:30 PM, featuring grilled polenta served with wild boar stew, pork ribs, sausages, and seasonal vegetables, amidst music, dancing, and games for children.

2025 Edition

In 2025, the Polenta Rencocciata Festival in Licenza took place on February 22 and 23, for its 29th edition, organized by the Pro Loco of Licenza with the support of the Municipality. Food stalls opened at noon in the main square of the historic center, with tastings beginning at 12:30 PM.

The festival dish was served in its most traditional version, with wild boar stew in tomato sauce, accompanied by pork ribs, grilled sausages, and seasonal vegetables. The two days were enlivened by music, folk dancing, shows, and games for children, while visitors took advantage of the festival to discover the medieval village, the Horatian Museum, and the ruins of the Villa of Horace in the Lucretili Mountains Regional Natural Park.
