Edition 2025 — Polenta Festival

The second edition of the Polenta Festival took place in Capranica from December 5 to 8, 2025, in the covered and heated elementary school parking lot. Organized by the Amici di San Rocco, it featured polenta with meat sauce and pork ribs and the white version with mushrooms, along with sausages, draft beer, and desserts, amidst games, music, and bingo during the Immaculate Conception long weekend.

Polenta Festival 2025

From December 5 to 8, 2025, Capranica hosted the second edition of the Polenta Festival, organized by the Amici di San Rocco in the covered and heated elementary school parking lot. The opening on Friday, December 5, was reserved for dinner; on Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th, the festival offered both lunch and dinner, while on Monday the 8th, the day of the Immaculate Conception, it concluded with lunch.

The highlight was the complete menu with polenta with meat sauce and pork ribs, white polenta with mushrooms, and potato wedges, accompanied by pork sausages, french fries, pretzels, and desserts such as strudel, donuts, and Nutella donuts. There was no shortage of draft beer, also served in the "meter" format, and red wine. The evenings were enlivened by games, music, and bingo, in a festive atmosphere that attracted numerous visitors to the Tuscia region.

Programme

Friday, December 5: dinner. Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7: lunch and dinner. Monday, December 8 (Immaculate Conception): lunch. Menu: polenta with meat sauce and pork ribs and white polenta with mushrooms with potato wedges; pork sausages with french fries; pretzels; desserts (apple strudel, filled donuts, Nutella donuts). Drinks: Forst draft beer (also in the 8-glass "meter" format), red wine, and water. Entertainment with games, music, and bingo.
