Polenta Festival and Feast of the Patron Saint San Celso

On Saturday, October 25th, and Sunday, October 26th, 2025, Sambuci celebrated the 27th edition of the Polenta Festival, organized by the Pro Loco Sambuci APS with the patronage of the Municipality and the Lazio Region. In Piazza di Corte, at the foot of Castello Theodoli, the stands served polenta topped with sauce, sausages, and pork ribs, polenta with broccoli, sausage sandwiches, and desserts, featuring zero-kilometer products: Saturday for dinner from 7:30 PM and Sunday for lunch from 12:30 PM.

As per tradition, the festival coincided with the feast of the patron saint the martyr San Celso, celebrated with mass and a procession accompanied by a brass band. On Sunday the 26th, the Castello Astalli-Theodoli opened to the public with the 'A Day at Court' re-enactment by the Terzo Millennio Association: ladies in period costumes shared stories and curiosities about the 19th-century summer retreats of the Theodoli marquises with visitors, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
