Pizza d'Autore Festival

The third edition of the Pizza d'Autore Festival was held in Milazzo from May 8 to 11, 2025, with an extension until Monday, May 12, to accommodate the large public turnout. The event, hosted on the Lungomare Garibaldi, saw stalls open from 6 PM until 1 AM.

The protagonists were the gourmet pizzaiolos competing in contests judged by an accredited jury across various categories, with a chance to join the Casa Sanremo pizza team. Among the specialties offered were the pizza burger, pizza with red prawns from Mazara del Vallo, and gluten-free options. The evenings were completed with music by Radio Movida Zenith and DJ sets.

The moment of solidarity and inclusion was particularly appreciated, featuring a live cooking show that involved special needs youth in preparing pizzas alongside organizer Enzo Piedimonte and the Mayor of Milazzo. The 2025 edition also received coverage from the Mag programme on Studio Aperto (Mediaset).
