Pizza Costarola Festival

Ninth edition, three evenings in late August

In 2025, the Pizza Costarola Festival extended to three evenings, from Friday, August 29th, to Sunday, August 31st, with stands opening at 7:30 PM. The event, now in its ninth year, was organized by the San Pancrazio Martire Festival Committee under the patronage of the Municipality of Montefiascone, in the province of Viterbo.

On the table and on stage

The absolute star was the Pizza Costarola, with thinly sliced potatoes, sausage, and mozzarella on a base of water and soft wheat flour dough. Alongside it, various pizza flavors and simpler options like hot dogs and fries were available for families. Every evening, live music accompanied dinner until late, while children enjoyed inflatables and traditional games.

The 2025 edition confirmed the popular and accessible formula of the festival, one of the closing events of the Montefiascone summer alongside the Wine Fair.
