Vintage Engines and Rioni in Competition
Perugia Storica is the event that links historic motoring to the rione identity of Perugia. It is organized by CAMEP – Club Auto e Moto d'Epoca Perugino and features the city's five historic Rioni — Porta Sant'Angelo, Porta Sole, Porta San Pietro, Porta Eburnea, and Porta Santa Susanna — competing to win the "Perugia Storica" Trophy.
A Convoy to the Alto Tevere
The gathering brings together vintage cars and motorcycles (with ASI, FIVA, or CRS certifications) that, starting from Perugia, form a convoy along the roads of Umbria to a village in the Alto Tevere region, transformed for the occasion into an open-air museum dedicated to historic vehicles. The day includes timed trials and concludes with awards and the presentation of the trophy to the winning Rione.

Perugia Storica is an event that celebrates both the heritage of vintage motoring and the tradition of Perugia's Rioni, involving enthusiasts from the Umbrian capital and the villages along the route.
Perugia Storica — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Perugia Storica, organized by CAMEP, was held on Sunday, March 29, Palm Sunday. The convoy of vintage cars and motorcycles departed from Perugia and reached Montone, a medieval village in the Alto Tevere region transformed for the occasion into an open-air museum dedicated to historic vehicles.
The event involved the five historic Rioni of Perugia in a competition that, at the end of the day, crowned the Magnificent Rione of Porta Sant'Angelo as the winner of the 2026 edition.

- 9:00 AM — Meeting at Sant'Andrea delle Fratte (Perugia)
- 10:00 AM — Convoy departure towards Città di Castello
- Timed trial in Ponte Felcino
- Around 11:30 AM — Arrival in Montone, set up as an open-air museum
- 12:30 PM — Awards ceremony at the San Fedele Auditorium and presentation of the "Perugia Storica" Trophy
Vehicles admitted: cars and motorcycles registered by 2006 with ASI, FIVA, or CRS certification. 2026 Winner: Magnificent Rione of Porta Sant'Angelo.

How to get there
The start is in Perugia (meeting point at Sant'Andrea delle Fratte). By car: take the Perugia exit from the E45 highway. The convoy reaches a village in the Alto Tevere region along the route towards Città di Castello.
Participation
