The festival of pears and the patron saint
The Peri Festival takes place between late June and early July in San Pietro Viminario, a municipality in the Bassa Padovana area in the province of Padua. The name derives from the "peretti sanpieroi", the typical local pear variety that ripens around June 29th, the day of the patron saint San Pietro.
In the parish cloister
The event is held in the picturesque cloister of the Parish Church of San Pietro Apostolo. The program includes evenings of music and dancing, a large charity raffle, inflatable games and a funfair with bumper cars and rides for the little ones, as well as a rich food and wine stand with local specialties.
Devotion and community
Alongside the festival, the community gathers in honor of San Pietro, its patron saint, to pray, celebrate, and share moments of fraternity. Organized by the parish with the support of the Pro Loco and the Municipality, the Peri Festival combines the religious dimension with a convivial atmosphere, making it one of the most anticipated events of the San Pietro summer.

The 2026 edition of the Peri Festival takes place between late June and early July in the cloister of the Parish Church of San Pietro Apostolo in San Pietro Viminario (PD), around the feast day of the patron saint San Pietro on June 29th.
The program includes evenings of music and dancing, a large charity raffle, inflatable games and a funfair for children, and a food and wine stand with traditional specialties. The precise dates will be published by the parish and Pro Loco closer to the event.
