About Pentecost Fair

For the Pentecost long weekend, Polesella, a town in Polesine overlooking the Po River in the province of Rovigo, transforms into a large festival space with the Pentecost Fair: rides for children and teenagers, food stalls, antique markets, stalls, exhibitions, and four evenings of music and shows. A deeply felt tradition that enlivens the town squares between May and the beginning of summer.

Polesella celebrates on the Po

The Pentecost Fair is the highlight of spring in Polesella, a town in Polesine located on the right bank of the Po River, in the province of Rovigo. Tied to the Pentecost holiday, the fair transforms the town squares into a large, widespread amusement park for a few days, with rides for children in Piazza Matteotti and for teenagers in Piazzale del Popolo.

Markets, flavors, and shows

Along the streets of the center, there are food stalls, stalls, and antique markets organized by the Associazione Soffitte in Piazza, while every evening features live music, DJ sets, and shows. There are also exhibitions set up in the Sala Agostiniani and collateral events, such as the walk "La rosa di Polesella". It is a festival that combines the popular tradition of Polesine with the desire to be together at the beginning of the good season.

Pentecost Fair — edition 2026
