The patronal feast of Brusatasso in honour of Saint Eurosia
The Patronal Festival of Saint Eurosia is the feast with which the hamlet of Brusatasso, in the Municipality of Suzzara and in the Province of Mantua, celebrates its patron saint. Organised by the Parish of Brusatasso, it combines the religious and popular aspects, according to the tradition of patronal feasts that have marked the life of the Padan communities for centuries.
Saint Eurosia is venerated in the countryside as a protector against natural calamities — storms, hail, and drought — that threatened the harvests. Her feast, particularly felt in rural areas, keeps alive the deep bond between faith and the work of the fields, reflecting the peasant identity of the hamlet of Brusatasso and the entire Bassa Mantovana territory.
The festival takes place over four evenings, with the food stand offering local typical products and traditional Mantuan dishes. Around good food, the atmosphere of conviviality that characterises village festivals is created, where the community comes together and welcomes visitors from the surrounding areas. An authentic event, a guardian of the religious and popular roots of Brusatasso.
The Patronal Festival of Saint Eurosia returns to the hamlet of Brusatasso di Suzzara from Sunday, July 26 to Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Four evenings of celebration with a food stand, open approximately from 7:30 PM, and local typical products of the Mantuan tradition.
Organised by the Parish of Brusatasso, the festival celebrates the patron saint of the hamlet, uniting devotion and conviviality, in that village festival atmosphere that draws the community and visitors from the surrounding areas to the heart of summer in the Province of Mantua.
The detailed religious and entertainment program will be announced by the parish in the preceding days.
