The Feast of Santa Maria Assunta
The Patronal Festival of Rubano, in the province of Padua, is the community feast par excellence, linked to the parish of Santa Maria Assunta. For several evenings, the town center comes alive with people, scents, and music, in an event that for generations has represented the most anticipated meeting point of the Rubano summer.
Food Stalls, Funfair, and Shows
The classic program includes the food stalls with Venetian cuisine specialties, the funfair for the little ones, the market, and evening shows with music and entertainment. The festival is organized by the Circolo Santa Maria Assunta A.P.S. thanks to the work of dozens of parish volunteers.
The Grand Finale
As tradition dictates, the festival concludes with the fireworks, the highlight that draws the entire community to the square. "It's a joy to be together": this is the spirit that animates every edition, where the religious dimension of the patron saint intertwines with the civil and convivial dimension of the town.
Festival of Rubano — edition 2026
From June 19 to 24, 2026, Rubano celebrates its Patronal Festival in honor of Santa Maria Assunta. The dates have been confirmed by the parish, with the usual search for volunteers already underway. Six evenings of celebration with food stalls, funfair, market, and shows, concluding with the traditional fireworks.
