On June 29th, Roncobello celebrates its patrons in the Upper Brembana Valley
In the heart of the Upper Brembana Valley, at over 1,000 meters above sea level and about fifty kilometers from Bergamo, lies Roncobello, a small mountain municipality that every June 29th celebrates its patron saints: Saint Peter and Saint Paul, protectors of the community.
The patronal feast is one of the most cherished events of the year. In a village of modest size, immersed in the alpine landscape of the Bergamo Orobic Alps, this anniversary takes on a special value: it is the day when the community comes together, between religious celebrations and festive moments.
The celebrations take place at the headquarters of the Pro Loco Roncobello, in via Ronchetto 10, and accompany the entire day, from morning until evening. The feast combines the solemnity of the liturgical anniversary – Saints Peter and Paul are among the most important figures in the Christian calendar – with the convivial atmosphere typical of village festivals, with moments designed to bring together residents and visitors.
Located in the province of Bergamo, in Lombardy, Roncobello is a popular destination for mountain tourism and for the tranquility of its landscapes. The patronal feast is also an ideal opportunity for those visiting the valley: an authentic way to discover the identity of an alpine community and its deep-rooted traditions.
The Patronal Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is renewed in Roncobello on June 29, 2026, on the fixed date dedicated to the two patron saints of the municipality.
The celebrations, with free admission, take place at the headquarters of Pro Loco Roncobello (via Ronchetto 10) and accompany the entire day, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, between the religious dimension and moments of community celebration in the alpine landscape of the Upper Brembana Valley.
The detailed program for the 2026 patronal feast, including liturgical celebrations and convivial moments, will be announced by the parish and the Pro Loco in the weeks preceding June 29th. The day runs from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Pro Loco headquarters.
