The Patronal Feast of Saints Gervasius and Protasius is the most cherished event in Saltrio, a small municipality in Valceresio, in the province of Varese, at the foot of Monte Orsa and a stone's throw from the Swiss border. The two martyr saints, celebrated on June 19th, are the protectors of the town, and the feast revolves around them, combining religious observance with community celebration.
A Day of Festivities at the Oratory
