The Patronal Feast of Saint Joseph parish is one of the most established neighbourhood festivals in Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. It takes place at Parco per la Vita, on Viale Stelvio, and for over two weeks it livens up the area with a packed programme of religious, gastronomic, and musical events.
A community celebrating
The heart of the feast is its community dimension: over fifty volunteers manage the stalls and hospitality, with around four hundred seats, half of which are under a covered and heated marquee. Long tables, home-style cooking, and a nostalgic, family atmosphere make this event a meeting point for the neighbourhood's residents and beyond.
Music, games, and tradition
The programme alternates tribute concerts to great Italian music artists, DJ sets, shows, children's entertainment, and markets. There is also a parade of the districts with the awarding of the 'Giuseppino d'Oro' prize and the celebration of a solemn Mass. To conclude the feast, the traditional lottery with a Vespa 50 and numerous other prizes.

Now in its many editions, the Feast of Saint Joseph is a classic of the Busto spring: a popular and welcoming event that combines faith, conviviality, and fun, capable of attracting families and visitors from all over Busto Arsizio.
Feast of Saint Joseph — edition 2026
The 26th edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Joseph will be held at Parco per la Vita in Busto Arsizio from April 24 to May 10, 2026. Organized by the Saint Joseph Parish with over fifty volunteers, it offers food stalls almost every evening, concerts, games between districts, markets, and entertainment for children. Among the tribute concerts, those dedicated to Vasco Rossi (May 1st), 883 (May 2nd), and Pinguini Tattici Nucleari. On May 1st, there will be a solemn Mass, the parade of districts, and the awarding of the 'Giuseppino d'Oro' prize. The grand prize of the final lottery: a Vespa 50.
