The Patron Saint of Branzi

Saint Bartholomew the Apostle is the patron saint of Branzi, a municipality in the Alta Val Brembana in the province of Bergamo. The patronal feast, which falls on August 24th, is the most anticipated event in the village's calendar: a celebration that combines religious and community aspects, with ceremonies in the church and festivities in the square.
